About

Less small talk. More real talk.

What is Bona Dating?

Bona Dating is a deck of carefully crafted question cards designed for people who want dating to feel intentional. Each card is a single, beautiful prompt — the kind of question that makes a first date stop scrolling and start listening.

Whether you're meeting someone new, deepening an early connection, or reconnecting with a partner, Bona Dating helps you skip the script and go somewhere real.

How to use the cards

1. Open For You

We surface a curated mix from every category. Swipe up and down to discover a new prompt. No two sessions are the same.

2. Or browse a theme

Pick a category — Childhood, Values, Intimacy, Money, Future — to stay in one emotional register for the night.

3. Ask out loud

Read the card to your date. Take turns answering. Let silence sit. The best answers usually come after the second sip of wine.

Make it yours

Saved cards

Tap the bookmark on any prompt you love. Your Saved feed becomes your personal shortlist — the questions you want to come back to.

My Answers

Write down your own honest answers. Bona becomes a quiet journal of how you've grown — what mattered last spring vs. today.

People

Add each date as their own profile. Log what they said to each question, add notes, a vibe, the day you met. Stop confusing two first dates again.

Beyond the app

Bona events

We host IRL events for people who'd rather meet over a real conversation than a swipe. RSVP for the next one at lu.ma/bonadating.

Install on your phone

Bona works as an installable app. Tap "Add to Home Screen" when prompted — it opens instantly, full-screen, no browser bar in the way mid-date.

A few ground rules

  • Answer first, then ask. Lead with vulnerability.
  • No wrong answers. Curiosity over judgment.
  • Skip any card that doesn't feel right. Consent applies to questions too.

The right question, asked at the right moment, is the shortest path to knowing someone.
